Jake Albright leads County Line Rail in sales, marketing, and business development efforts in the Texas Gulf Coast. 

 

As a Business Development professional, Jake works with new and current rail shippers to develop the right rail solutions for their logistical challenges. Jake has led the design and construction of new rail yards for customers’ needs and procured custom transload equipment to help customers transfer various products for all transportation modals.

 

Prior to joining County Line Rail, Jake started his 24-year career with Rescar, where he worked his way into operational management, overseeing rail switching operations. After six years with Rescar, Jake spent seven years with Petroleum Service Corporation (PSC) where he held a variety of different leadership roles within the organization, finishing as a Senior Level Operations Manager. In this role, he was responsible for leading railcar switching, liquids loading, bulk loading, warehouse logistics, and dock operations for several major customers consisting of over 200 field employees and direct reports. Jake spent a decade with USD Group where he led operations and business development for two Gulf Coast rail terminals. He finished his USDG career focusing on commercializing green field developments along the Houston Ship Channel. In his tenure with USDG, he was able to generate over $60M of annual revenue for the Gulf Coast terminals and dredge receiving facilities.

 

Jake spent two years at USA Rail Terminals, where he led the Business Development and growth efforts for all the US entities generating over $10MM in new revenue for the company. Throughout his 23-year professional career, he has acquired vast practical leadership experience and holds many management and technical certifications. Jake is also an active member of both professional and public community organizations.
